Making the resolution to start a new hobby is a great way to improve the quality of your life throughout the New Year. In 2018, starting a new hobby will have many benefits for you. Mine is to paint more, hike more and to travel more!
With a hectic life and work schedule, you need plenty of play time too. More play time will make life more pleasurable, relieve stress, help you connect with others and help you to learn more. Playing games like Chess or doing activities like puzzles can improve brain functions as well as stimulate the mind. Or simply get out to a theme park with your kids and be a kid for a little too.
More play will help you improve social skills, teach you to cooperate and even heal emotional wounds. Also, playing will definitely keep you feeling young and energized. All positives here!
Set Aside One-Hour-A-Day to Achieve Your Dreams
I have always been an advocate of actively chase your dreams, and I think spending an hour-a-day is essential to actually realizing those dreams.
Devoting an hour a day to achieve any dreams you have for the New Year can be achieved if you allot an hour a day towards achieving your goal(s). No matter what you want to do such as start a business, pursue your dream job, build wealth or even write a book, one hour a day will help you get there a lot quicker than investing no time at all. In 2018, make it a priority to devote an hour a day to achieve any dreams that you desire for the New Year.
Learn a New Skill
Maybe there is a new skill you want to learn that you'll hope to master in the New Year. In 2018, pick a skill that you have been wanting to learn and go for it. By adding time and dedication to learning the skill, you will be able to master it by the end of the New Year. With all the information afloat online, you can certainly learn skills quickly and apply them anywhere they fit in your life.
The New Year is a year to start anew. You can make a number of resolutions, but fulfilling those resolutions will be something you’ll have to stand by. When making a New Year’s resolution there is no room for failure as you can grow through your resolution goals. The resolution is to help you become a better person in life and ultimately better the quality of your life.
